After two decades of remarkable progress
in the specialized field of software for the maritime industry, Softway assigned to Colibri the renewal of its visual identity.
Colibri's suggestion was that the new identity should be accompanied by a cohesive branding strategy with two sub-brands, Softway Communicator and Softway Suites, under the umbrella of Softway.
Αfter three presentations and having in mind the desired positioning for Softway, we opted for “Head start solutions “ as descriptor, while for the logo we chosea modest and clear volume font, the emblem consisting of two cycles conjoint by wavy lines in blue shades, that visualize the shipping, and an extroverse communication and technology. The new corporate identity includes various design applications such as business cards, folders, sous-verres, envelopes and letterheads.
We also designed a modern sales presenter titled “A sea of information in your hands”, that includes a detailed presentation of Softway's basic software product lines, emphasizing on Softway Communicator, one of the most advanced management information systems in the field of shipping.
The new visual identity of Softway, as well as its brochure was presented to the public for the first time at Posidonia 2010, the biggest maritime exhibition, the material for which we also designed.
